Welcome to my World of Warcraft blog! Here i post hints, exploits, cheats, updates, guide and faq for this game. Most of my post is merely copy and paste, and i taken it from other sites, since i don't play well and can't write well. I'll try to write some guide and articles on that. Well, hope you enjoy! You also can find more WoW guide from link at the sidebar!

Insane Farming requires 70 Lock

First off if you're looking for fast WoW Gold I recommend The MMORPG Exchange. They're easy to deal with, they have great prices, and their support is excellent. They're my secret weapon for fast gold! I highly recommend them, okay let's continue…

Havent seen a good new strat since before bc. Anyways i got a beauty for yall. Doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

SEED OF CORRUPTION

There's several good aoe spots in the outlands(you can't have mine lol):p It basically takes a team of 2. It could be done if you are an sl lock but just not worth the time. I've powerleveled and farmed with basically every class with this ONE warlock spell. Just have your buddy round up a bunch of mobs and hold them in place while u toss out 5-6 seeds out. I use shadowfury to set it off but if u got a mage that will do just as well. Pallies can easily round up and hold these mobs till you get the seeds off. Even my 66 shaman buddy can do it. Frost mages are real good to ice block then nova and blink out after rounding up the mobs. Warriors work fine too as long as you aren't pullng casters.

Just try it for yourself if you are a lock. First time i tested it i pulled all of andorhol around araj with my blueberry and blew up the whole place in seconds. It's pretty ridiculous. It's bound to get nerfed soon its just not right lol so have fun with it once you get it. I'll give yall the spots once i get exalted with my factions :p

Farming What-Where Farming Spots Listed

First off if you're looking for fast WoW Gold I recommend The MMORPG Exchange. They're easy to deal with, they have great prices, and their support is excellent. They're my secret weapon for fast gold! I highly recommend them, okay let's continue…

There are people who use professions to make their money. They run around picking flowers, or hitting rocks, or making funky items to sell. Now, honestly, i'm not one of those people, heh.

What's farming?
When i'm strapped for cash, I farm. Farm, farm, farm. As in, I kill mobs repeatedly. Farming is a consistent thing, you must be consistent with your kills, spend as little downtime as possible, and you want to kill every desired mob you come across.

Why farm?
First of all, there's no real expense. Apart from buying food/drink, or repairing your gear once every few hours, you're making pure profit. You can get a lot of money out of manufacturing professions, but leveling these means they become a money sink, and unless you put in the time and money to grab those rare recipes that people REALLY want, you're going to be spending more than you'll be making. Farming gets you pure profit, and depending on your luck, you can make more selling a single drop than spending a week making / gathering stuff. You get money, greens, blues, sometimes phat epixx, and all you have to do is going around killing stuff. That's farming.

Good farming, on the other hand, is a combination of things.

-Management of downtime - You want to stay sitting for the least amount of time possible by using bandages, or using conjured mage water instead of the crappy vendor water. If you're a caster, you want a fair bit of spirit gear (which you'll already have probably) and mana regen gear (mp/5). It might not seem like much, but it really helps in the long run.

-Consistent kills - If I run to my desired phat farming zone, i kill two mobs, I get up, get a drink, flip on the tv, kill more mobs, alt-tab to talk on msn, open up torrents, watch tv a bit more, and kill a couple more mobs, that's farming. Good farming, is when you get on, maybe flip on music, and just kill mobs. Kill, kill, kill. Don't stop. It can get boring, but the profit is usually worth it.

-Complimentary professions - Gathering professions mixed with farming can be a very useful moneymaking tool indeed. If I grind on beasts, then skinning would double my profit intake. If I had herbalism, then i'd make more money from picking up those random flowers you come across. If you have enchanting, you can pick up a crappy level 52 green that vendors for 80s, DE it, and get a shard worth 6g.

Got all that? Good. Let's go farmz0rs.

If you're willing to farm, then i'd assume you're level 60 and you have half-decent gear (or you're a beast mastery hunter :P)

And, BE PERSISTENT! If you spend 20 minutes farming, then stop because you haven't got anything, THAT'S NORMAL! Just keep farming. You only get out what you put in. Try a day of farming. You're guaranteed to get something of value.

For maximum phat pharming speed, you should be farming mobs 1-2 levels below you, or less.

Farming spots listed:

Winterspring, lake of Kel'Theril, Southwest of everlook.
53,42
Mob levels - 54-56 (I think)
You'll be farming ghosts here. This place is kickass - sometimes farmed heavily, other times not as much. The ghosts are weak, they die easily, they drop 2-8s a kill, drop funky greens and blues, and random chests spawn around here. One of my favourites.

Also, weekly, Princess Tempestria and her water elemental bodyguards spawn all over the house.
She's a 60 elite, her 3 bodyguards are 57 non-elites, and there are other 58 mobs all over the place. If she spawns, try to grab all the local horde/alliance in the area, group up, and kill her! She drops kickass blue BOEs, and Ace of elementals, which sells for 200G.

Winterspring, Darkwhisper Gorge, directly south of Everlook at the bottom of this map.
60,56
Mob levels - 60 elites.
Ok. These mobs here, I wouldn't really call farmable. However, they do drop high-value items, and if you have good friends, 3-4 of you could take one of these. The demons here hit like trucks, crit like planes. But, they have an abnormally high drop rate to drop Eye Of Shadow, the first item priests need for their epic staff quest. It can sell for 200g+. They can drop 2-30s a kill, runecloth, greens, blues, and epics. But they hit hard. And DO NOT try to solo these. Unless you're a beast mastery hunter =p.

Felwood, Feral Scar Vale, North-North-East of the horde camp (37,44)
Mob levels - 49-51
You're going to be farming bears here. Yes, there are only 12-15 of them at any given time, and you can kill them faster than they spawn, but that's usually a good thing. Now, they don't drop money, but they drop items worth money.
They drop:
-large bear bones (15s)
-bear jaws (9s)
-savage bear claws (6s)
-bear flanks (6s)
etc. Now, i'm just making guesses, since I don't really remember, but they can easily drop 1-3 pieces of vendor fodder at a time.
You can kill these guys very fast. and you can skin them for rugged leather, which sells for, what, 1.5-3g a stack? That doubles your money intake. If you kill them fast (ten seconds time to kill), and skin them, and maybe grab the Arthas' tears spawns around there, you can very well make 30g+ an hour. Just be consistent. And the beautiful thing is, they're never farmed, at least on my server =p

Felwood, Those satyr mobs, All the way north in felwood
42,16
Mob levels - 51-53
These demon satyrs are kickass. They have good world drops, they drop 2-8s a kill, they die stupidly easy, they drop heaps of runecloth, sometimes felcloth (one piece goes for 1-3g), and they spawn fast. Problem? People farm them. Farm at off-peak hours though, and you've got yourself some money intake there.

Western plaguelands, felstone field, first field to your left out of the Bulwark.
36,57
Mob levels - 50-53
Yarr, there's heaps of undead here. Casters and melee mobs. The thing I love about these guys is that they almost always drop runecloth, which sells for a nice bonus per stack. Good silver, consistent respawn rates, but sometimes farmed. Give them a go, they're awesome, especially if you mow them down fast.

Azshara, south-west corner of the map, entrance to zone, left from the path. Yep, my memory sucks.
16,70
Mob levels - 44-47
Highborne ghosts here. They drop insaneeee mageweave, great green droprates, there's a random chest, they're casters so they die easily, they have low hp, and 60s can farm them with little to no downtime. Rarely farmed, great for grinding too.

Tanaris, Southsea pirates, East of the zone along the beach after going through a small tunne l - Lost Rigger Cove
72,47
Mob levels - 43-45
Suprisingly, these guys are actually good for farming. 1-6s a kill. They also drop random junkboxes which can have funky stuff in them, they have a high rate (compared to other random mobs) to drop blues and epix, they drop silk - mageweave, and they're easy to farm. But, sometimes they're camped, they're all melee and some disarm, but other than that you should take a look at this spot.
[edit]Some are ranged, not all are melee. Thanks yensid!

Eastern plaguelands, Mossflayer zombies around that tomb-place, located south-west of the map along the path
Location clarified - 27,85 - The Undercroft
Mob levels - 54-56 (?)
These guys are funky to farm. They have a good world drop rate, they drop 3-8s a kill, random junkboxes, runecloth, they die easily, respawn quickly, and nobody farms them. Except for me =)

Eastern plaguelands, Bats, all over the place
Located all over EPL, just make a circuit around the whole zone
Originally, I didn't think of these bats as a subject for farming. But spending an hour on them proved otherwise.
I got bat pelts, fangs, claws, all which vendored extremely well, almost better than the bears listed above. They also drop Evil bat eyes, which, during the faire, can sell for 1-2g a PIECE. And, if so inclined, you can vendor them for a hefty profit. Just a suggestion.

Winterspring, Ice Thistle Hills, Yetis
67,43
Mob levels - 56-59
These yetis are great for farming. Reasons? Well, they're not the weakest mobs around, but the good thing about these fellas is because they're technically beasts, you can skin them for rugged, which is great money. Yet they still drop coin, and phat blues, and epix! I'd have to rate this spot as one of my favourites. It's a great spot, because they drop coin, items, you can skin them, AND they drop vendor fodder (I think). enjoy!

Western Plaguelands, Hearthglen
Co-ords coming soon =p
Hearthglen in WPL is a wonderful place. There are 53-56 elites littered all over the place, some are casters and most are solo-friendly. Me, as a 60 shaman, can take them easy as pie. They drop 5-30s a kill, and have a very high dropchance of good items. Sometimes farmed, otherwise empty =)

ALSO: On the road to hearthglen, to your right, you'll pass a tower. Inside that tower are 7 (?) scarlet spellbinders. These are the only mobs in the game that have a chance to drop Enchant: Crusader. This sells for 150G+, and is usually in high demand (these mobs are 53-55 non-elites).
So, basically, go in there, kill all 7 (some on the roof), go afk for 10 minutes, come back, continue.
BE WARNED! These guys are usually farmed, plenty. Get on at non-peak times if you can for max farming potential.
(credit goes to a friend for this)

Of course, these spots were off the top of my head (not anymore), i'll shove more additions in soon enough and confirm those locations and statistics. There are plenty other farmable spots, but these particularly are my personal favourites, and each have helped me with my fair intake of gold.

Alliance Leveling Guide

First off if you're looking for fast WoW Gold I recommend The MMORPG Exchange. They're easy to deal with, they have great prices, and their support is excellent. They're my secret weapon for fast gold! I highly recommend them, okay let's continue…

This guide pretty much kicks ass.I will show you were to grind and
quest from levels 1-40 and from 55-70.

Starting area (darnassus, elwynn, dun morogh, azuremyst isle)Do LOTS of questing in these areas, dont even grind at all. This should get you to level 10-12. The best starting place is dun morogh.

Advanced area (westfall, bloodmyst isle, darkshore) In these areas you should quest about 65-80% and grind the rest. This should get you to level 17-20. Bloodmyst isle is the best place of all these.

Duskwood and redridge mountains is the best place for levels 19-22. Here do about half grinding and half questing. Duskwood is the better place to get levels of these two places but they're both nice places. After you hit level 22 head over to stormwind and get some new weapons and armor, also pick up a one gathering profesion and one crafting profesion that are related to each other (examples: herbalism and alchemy, blacksmithing and mining, tailoring and enchanting, skinning and leatherworking)

Ashenvale and the wetlands are good places to get from 22-25. This is where grinding takes over. Grind a lot and quest as much as you can, as there aren't many quests in these places, they will get you a ton of experince though.

Hillsbrad foothills and deadwind pass are the only places to go to get to level 28. There aren't many quests here so you have to grind. While you're at these places remember to skin things and mine ore and collect herbs for your crafting profesion. Head to stormwind once you hit level 28 and get some twink shit 'cause you're gonna need it.

Stranglethorn vale is a dangerous place for a badly geared character so if you dont have good items go to arathi highlands. In STV grind on tigers and gorrilas or whatever you find. You will probably get ganked a few times but it doesnt do 10% damage to your items, just find your corpse and respawn. Arathi highlands is a little bit of quest but mostly grinding. You should get to levels 31 or 32.

Go to thousand needles now. Grind and quest here until you're level 34.

Dustwallow marsh is the place to now. Grind on whatever you find. If you like to piss the horde off go to the barrens and kill horde NPC's.You can get to level 40 easily here. Here is the end of the 1-40 guide and now is the 55-70 guide. Hope you enjoy it!

Eastern plaugelands and western plauglands are the place to go now. I think the EP is easier at a low level so go there first till youre level 57. Go to WP now till you're level 59. Quest a lot here and grind some to.

Winterspring is the place to go now. There is a major goblin town there so you can pick up quite a few quests there and just kill stuff there until you're half way to level 61. Now the outland guide comes into play. You will need the expansion for this.

Hellfire penninsula is where you go now. Quest until youre level 62.

Zangamarsh is where to quest now. Get to halfway between 63 and 64 and go to tekkor forest.

Tekkor forest is the place to ace. Quest and grind to level 66. Remeber, get ores, herbs, and hides so you can level up your professions.

Find some monsters to grind on that are easy to kill and get to level 68.

Shadowmoon valley is your final destination! Quest and grind till you are level 70. Get your flying mount now and do some end-game dungeons with some friends. I like the swift green gryphon the best.

TIPS

1.Make a level one alt that sits around stormwind or ironforge that handles all your auction house needs and sells your stuff.

2.If you can't afford stuff I recommend buying the World of Warcraft Cash Creating Guide. I can make 100-150 gold with this per hour easily at level 70.You can still make 50 gold an hour at level one with this guide.

3.You can solo this whole guide so don't get in a group unless there is a lot of people where you're going.

Azuregos Walkthrough

First off if you're looking for fast WoW Gold I recommend The MMORPG Exchange. They're easy to deal with, they have great prices, and their support is excellent. They're my secret weapon for fast gold! I highly recommend them, okay let's continue…

Overview
Azuregos is a dragon from the blue flight he roams around Azshara. He is a raid type mob that is is immune to arcane spells and is very frost-resistant.

Azuregos Abilities

Mark of Frost:
(You get it on death): A player who is hit with the Mark of Frost will be temporarily (15 min) frozen in a block of ice should they attempt to re-engage Azuregos. Mark of Frost will persist through death and resurrection.

Reflect
Azuregos periodically puts up a magic reflection shield that bounces spells back at the caster. The state of this shield will be announced in raid shout. It is also quite visible; you will see a sparkly halo around the dragon.

Manastorm:
Azuregos will cast Blizzard spell like at random points close to him, this spell also drains mana.

Cleave:
Swipes multiple targets in melee range with his claw for 900-1600 dmg.

Teleport:
Teleports all players within 30 yards directly on top of him and completely resets aggro.

Cone of Cold:
Cone shaped like attack which will damage and slow targets for 30 seconds.

Countering Azuregos Abilities

Mark of Frost:
(You get it on death): A player who is hit with the Mark of Frost will be temporarily (15 min) frozen in a block of ice should they attempt to re-engage Azuregos. Mark of Frost will persist through death and resurrection. This was put in place by blizzard to stop guilds graveyard rezzing and killing him this way there is no way to avoid this except not to die.

Reflect
Azuregos periodically puts up a magic reflection shield that bounces spells back at the caster. Just make sure all your casters keep an eye out for the blue sparks coming from his mouth. When this appears just stop casting.

Manastorm
Azuregos will cast Blizzard spell like at random points close to him, this spell also drains mana. Once he teleports everyone near him he usually does this spell so its best to run straight away from him the second you are teleported.

Teleport:
Teleports all players within 30 yards directly on top of him and completely resets aggro. This is the main trick to this whole fight. The secret is to think of this spell as a good spell for everyone to get because if everyone is getting it then noone will have agro but if a MT gets it and there are still players out of range not getting this then Azuregos will have agro on them and it may be a pain to get agro back onto the MT's.

Walkthrough

Aggro Management: Teleport and having the tank Frozen and Slowed makes for touchy aggro. Anyone with any threat built up against Azuregos *must* be caught in the teleport, else Azuregos will come straight to them after the teleport. After the teleport, others must consider that the MT is working from 0 threat, so will need a few seconds to build aggro before people start using their 1k dmg abilities. DPS needs to be well controlled.

Healing: This is a very long fight. Healers will run out of mana well before Azuregos is close to dead. A way to deal with this is to wait for Azuregos to teleport, so you have 0 threat and have little chance of being caught out of teleport range, and run far enough away to get out of combat (like outrunning a mob to escape combat). The healers can then drink back up to full mana and return to combat. Get a rotation going and cooridinate with others to try and make healing last longer. Healers should be healing from 25+ yards away from Azuregos.

Tanking: Tank should use high threat output and normal tanking gear. Frost Resist doesn't help much, even though over 50% of the dmg is Frost based. He should watch who is in danger of Frost Breath and Cleave and position Azuregos accordingly. After a teleport, backpedal a small amount and resume tanking. You will be facing the same way. Normal tanking operation: Defensive Stance, repeatedly apply Sunder Armor (even with 5 applications on) or Revenge, if up.

Meleers: To minimize dmg taken and preserve healer mana, melee should Range Attack from 25+ yards until they see a Chill and then engage for 20 seconds in melee and run back out to Range Attack until another Chill. Meleers should help kill adds to clear a path to escape combat and to save healers. Upon receiving dmg, possibly from a Chill/Frost Breath/Cleave following a teleport, meleers should exit combat and eat, by running away far enough immediately after a teleport. *remember to turn off attack*

Casters: Casters should wand Azuregos from 25+ yards until the notice that Magic Shield is down. Then they may cast for about 15 seconds, then return to wanding. Long lasting strong DoTs should be avoided, to avoid drawing aggro after a teleport. Casters should help kill adds to clear a path to escape combat and to save healers. Upon receiving dmg, possibly from a Chill/Frost Breath/Cleave following a teleport, casters should exit combat and eat and drink, by running away far enough immediately after a teleport.

Hunters: Hunters should auto shoot Azuregos from 25-30 yards away. It is hard to measure the distance, so Hunters should watch how far meleers run out and group up with them. Hunters may use shots at their discretion. Pets will not help much vs Azuregos, but may be used to kill adds that may patrol into the raid. Upon receiving dmg, possibly from a Chill/Frost Breath/Cleave following a teleport, casters should exit combat and eat and drink, by running away far enough immediately after a teleport.

Leveling Powerlevel To 20 In Under 24 Hours

First off if you're looking for fast WoW Gold I recommend The MMORPG Exchange. They're easy to deal with, they have great prices, and their support is excellent. They're my secret weapon for fast gold! I highly recommend them, okay let's continue…

O.K. before we begin let me give you my definition of Powerleveling:

Powerleveling = A method in which you acquire the greatest amount of experience points in the shortest time possible.

The method described here is for the Horde side with an 8 character account, 2 of every race and 1 of every class. Although you may be playing Alliance, or be playing Horde with less characters the same basic principles will help you level allot faster to 20. My actual play time to level 20 with my first character(Mage) was 22 hours 57 minutes and 39 seconds, you can find this info for your character using the /played command. This time, to some, may seem really slow for WOW and it is, but remember that all my characters are expert crafters(skill above 125, except for enchanting)and this in itself is a HUGE time sink. I could not imagine the time actually spent skinning every single mob I could, even the ones I did not kill myself, as well as gathering every herb regardless of the agro defending it, as well as the mining. As a side note: Bliz has done a very good job of putting most of the better material "spawns" right in the middle or very close too, allot of agro:( My crafting skill would be higher but I could not train to the next higher level, as the crafting trainers said I had to be level 20.(Most of my characters hit expert at level 15). Here is my characters and their trade skills, as well as, the order in which I leveled them:

Undead Mage - Skinning and Tailoring
Undead Priest - Herb and Enchanting
Troll Rouge - Herb and Alchemy
Troll Hunter - Skinning - Leatherworking
Tauren Warrior - Mining Blacksmithing(Armor)
Tauren Druid - Herb and Skinning
Orc Shaman - Mining and Blacksmithing(Weapon)
Orc Warlock - Mining and Engineering

Some items of interest here: As you can see I have 3 Herbalists, 3 Skinners, and 3 Miners on only 8 characters.(Remember that all characters gather cloth) As with this many gatherers I have never bought any items from another player, or the auction. The reason I have 2 peeps being blacksmiths is because at higher levels you can choose to "specialize" in Armor crafting or Weapon crafting, and since the Warrior is the only peep that can use Mail until level 40 I made him the Armor. Notice also, that I made the Druid a gatherer only, this is so that I can wipe her crafting skills and take "Woodworking" in the future, whether it is put in a patch or an expansion. No, I did not hear anything about woodworking but it is desperately needed, I mean an engineer can make bullets but not arrows? and what about staves? Having a blacksmith make staves is retarded. I also did not use the ninth and tenth character slots as they are for expansion peeps also. LOL, I did force my kids to play on the same server as the MPS guild, so if you see "Masony", "Mckenzie", or "Bluice" on Bleeding Hollow, they will be "noobing it up" so feel free to PK them, especially since they all went Alliance... sigh...

General things to remember when Powerleveling to 20, DO NOT grind. Grinding might be more beneficial at higher levels but at these loobie levels, the mobs will not drop the coin or gear that you need to keep your momentum up, to keep Powerleveling. Never look over your loot, as this is a waste of time, simply "Shift-right click" everything and it will all jump into your inventory. "Shift-right click" works on dead mobs, Herb gathering, and Mining, but does not work on Skinning. By the way, you shift-right click the mob, herb or mining node, not "Shift- right click" after you open up the target. If you get a green or other decent item, they will still be there when you head to town to sell, so don't waste time now. Never buy anything from an NPC, unless it is cheap food or drink for those classes that need it, you will need all your coin for buying your skills. Never repair your items, Items are 100% effective if they have full durability or they are one point away from being useless. At these low levels you will most likely find newer better gear before your current gear wears out, however if you do have an item that turns "red" repair it the next time you go town, but do not make an extra trip now. You should level all your characters in order from level 1 to 10, then 10 to 15, then 15 to 20.

Levels 1-5

These levels should all be completed within 60 minutes, simply run around and get your quests and do them. There is little else I can help you with here.(Hopefully you have Cosmo or CT, so you do not have to view that damn scrolling text in your quests, I use a Modded form of CT that a "friend" made me)

Levels 5-10

Here is where you will go to your "next town", for Undead this will be Brill, for Orc and Troll it will be Senjinn village, for Tauren it will be Bloodhoof. O.K. here if you are an Undead do "QUEST PACK UD1"(quest packs are listed below) If Orc or Troll do "QUEST PACK OT1" If Tauren do "QUEST PACK MOO1" While doing any of the quest packs you need to remember the basics of the quests such as locations, do not waste time writing down specifics though.

QUEST PACK UD1

Coming out of the newb spawn area there will be a guy in the road that asks you to get 10 pumpkins, do this now as this opens a new quest that you will need in the general area of the scarlet. After you get the 10 pumpkins go to brill turn in the quest,(he should make a potion that you give to an NPC in the bottom of the inn) and grab all the quests that you can around brill. Make sure your inventory is as empty as you can get it keeping only the basics.(Make sure you stop at the inn to "bind" there. Go west out of brill and talk to the big fat guy he will tell you to get 3 gloom weeds, these can be found right around the bridge area, while you are here you will see a little farmyard here this is where you get the claws that you need for the "putrid task" quest. You should also get the "blood vials" from the blood hounds here as they are right in the area. At this point you might need to run to brill and empty your inventory, unless you have found a bag or 2, even so turn in the quests and go far to the north west and you can kill the scarlets here by the tower for the "kill 10 scarlet Warriors". After this if you can do the vile fin quest as these are right there on the coast, but depending on your class they may be a little hard, if they are too hard right now just mentally note their location. At this point if you turned in the gloom weeds to the NPC in the graveyard, he will ask you to get 10 doom weeds which are north by the graverobbers. Go north and get the doom weeds and kill the grave robbers, the "mongrels" that you have to kill are north by the barn next to the farm field. By this time another trip to town for quests and selling of inventory will be needed. Next go to the Amagand farm and to the south of the farm you can kill the casters to get the eyes and the tanks there drop the ribs, you will also have to kill Devlin he is a tiny bit South East of the south most tower. Back to town to turn in quests and sell, then head South west, this will take you to the first scarlet kill task, kill the named and stay there and keep killing scarlets until you complete that quest and the task to collect 10 rings.(Proof of demise) At this point you have many options of quests you can do, do not forget to go upstairs in the inn as there is a girl up there that wants you to get duskbat pelts for her as well as 1 coarse thread.(The course thread can be bought right outside the inn from the "general trade good supplier". Keep doing the quests from brill eventually you will be given the Lich's quest that will require you to go to the Undead city to talk to the Mage in the magic quarter. Make sure you dump your items in the bank here if you have any you want to keep. After you hit level 10, DO NOT go to Silverpine. For future reference Silverpine is to the south west of the UD city just follow the road. Some notes on the other quests here, make sure you go South east on the road from Brill as there is a female NPC that will give you some quests also, these quests are far to the east. If you are looking for the friars and that kill task that is also far east and a little north, the spiders that you need to kill are at the friar location as well but west about 200-300 in-game feet.

QUEST PACK OT1

When coming out of the Orc-Troll newbie area there will be an NPC on the road asking you to take a package to Razor Hill, take this quest now and go to Razor Hill, DO NOT go to Senjinn village yet. AT Razor Hill you will be given a Quest you go to the human fort a little ways SE of Razor Hill, do this quest now. After killing the named boss towards the top of the tower, take the key you get from his body, and go way up top and there will be a chest there outside. This chest has an Item in it that will open a quest to go back to razor hill do this now. After going to razor hill and turning in the quests you will be given a quest to search the human wreckage for gnomes tools, go SE from razor hill and you will see the wrecks right off the shore, swim out to them and you will find the little chests with the tools in them laying around the wreckage. Run back to razor hill and turn in this quest, then run south to Senjinn village, just follow the road way south of razor hill. Here get all the quests you can and go a little bit west here is an NPC that will give you the quest to destroy the war plans, do this quest now by going further west and into the little break in the mountains, the 3 plans are in the 3 camps there. Turn in that quest and go to the shore south of Senjinn village where you kill the yellow con crabs for the mucus and the red con bigger crabs for the eyes. O.K. now check you quest log you should have at least 5 quests, 1 of them will have you finding raptor eggs, that you get from razor hill, the cook there will give it to you. You should also have the get 4 tiger furs and a find the skull quests, and even kill the named boss,(name starts with a "Z"). Swim to the islands south of Senjinn village here on these islands you can find the raptor eggs, the tiger furs, the skull,(this is on a little hill by where the named mob spawns) and the kill quest for the hexed trolls and the voodoo peeps. Finish up any quests that you have left, but DO NOT go to the crossroads. If you are not level 10 yet then go to Razor hill, and keep going north, when you are almost to Orgrimar look to the left(right after you get out of the ravine) and there is a goblin there that will give you a "gather supply" quest, after that he will give you another kill quest. Both of these quests have you traveling back south and about halfway there make a left, you will find the bags together here. After you take these back and get the kill task go back to the same spot and go south through the little opening you will find your kill tasks here. There are 2 other quests you can do here without going to the crossroads, and without killing fizzle. Go to Org and stay just south of it looking at the entrance, now turn west and go straight you will find an NPC that is positioned, hiding in a big rock formation. This is a timed quest, after talking to him go to the shadow cleft in Org and you will get a quest to get poison sacks these are dropped by the venomtails that are located where the NPC was that you got the quest from. After this you can go to a hut by where fizzle is and there is a lady in there that lost her son cause a crok ate him, just go to the river and keep killing croks until the medallion drops.

QUEST PACK MOO1

When you get to Bloodhoof you will be given a quest to collect acorns(these are under any big tree) and tablets.(These are at the water well to the SE of Bloodhoof). From here you will get other tasks that are all very easy and include killing the plainstriders that are found everywhere. The claws needed from the cats can be found by going straight south out of blood hoof as well as another NPC here.(By the south mountains). The razormanes can be found to the south and east a little and the higher level ones are in a camp to the east a little farther. The harpies when you get this quest are even father east, still against the southern mountains though. When at Bloodhoof you can also follow the road east and run into another NPC that will start you on quests killing the members of the vulture mining team. The Caravan is straight north right across the little pond there. The quest to kill the Supervisors and the named boss can be done by going into the caves which is to the north and after you go into the entrance make the first right and keep going straight the named mob is there. The Spirit wolf that you have to follow will take you NW from Bloodhoof into a little cave with yet another NPC that will give you a quest. The humans that are mining are to the NW of Bloodhoof, you DO NOT have to access the forge there, just take the tools that they drop to ThunderBluff and destroy them there at the forge. The forge is right at the eastern elevators. The named "arreache" roams in a half moon shaped trail from the mid top of TB moving right then down through the valley and back again. When you get the quest from TB to obtain the feathers there is a named ghost wolf there that will yet open another quest which can be completed in Bloodhoof. All the other quests in this area are very close together and self explained.

Levels 10-15

By now I had all my characters send all the stacks of 20 linen to my Mage tailor, this was enough for me to level to "40 skill" on bolts of linen and then make 28 - 6 slot bags for all 8 of my characters, and even had enough left over to make a couple robes for my casters. At level 10 your hunter and warlock should do all the pet related quests to obtain them, for my shaman at level 10 the fire totem quest was still a little too hard. All of your characters now should have their bags slots full, if they do not this is really going to slow you down. Now instead of continuing in the area that your characters are do the following:

Send your Orc and Troll race classes to do the Undead Quest pack, send you Undead and Tauren to do the Orc and Troll quest pack. Why? Well what we want here is speed, you already have done the quests in these areas with your other characters, and now you are going to do them with characters that are a few levels high AND have full bags so that you only have to make half as many trips to town. Some Quests are going to be green, do these anyway as they are extremely quick and still yield the same exp when turned in. If you see any quests that are grey or black these are your option to do them, remember though, that as of now there is no penalty to "abandon" a quest so just abort it if you do not want to do it. This method also helps you out allot later, as your Undead can then add the Silverpine and crossroads flight paths, and your Orc and troll can add the Undead city and Silverpine Flight paths. You Tauren will get Orgrimar and the Crossroads flight paths. As Far as the leveling goes, after you do these quest packs with your other characters, they will not quite be 15, this is when they all go to Silverpine and do the "Selphcher" quests. Since these are meant to be started at level 10 you will already have a 2-3 level advantage when you start these and can simply breeze through them. Some notes on the Silverpine quests: The bear hearts can be dropped by any grizzled bear. When you are given the quest "lost death stalkers" go a little farther east when you arrive and there is a little shack there with an NPC in it this will be your first "escort" mission. To save time do not go get the skittering blood until you also have the quest to get the shackles from the moonrages and the gluttons, as they are basically in the same area to the north east of town. Stay away from Pyrewood and save the elite quests for the level 15-20 or simply avoid them. The "Border Crossing" can be completed by going south out of town to where the little tent of human spellcasters are simply loot a box there.(This is just north of Pyrewood) The named boss that you must kill is in a mine off the road to the east, he is in the back, it is a very small mine but allot of agro. The pendants that you must obtain are from human spellcasters that are across the road from the "border crossings" crate. The last quest I did in this area was to get the ichor from fenris Island which is due East from town across the water.(Ignore the talking head as you need a group to do that quest)

Levels 15-20

This should be the same for all your characters by now. Finish up any and all quests in the Sepulcher up to and including the rot hide ichor quest but stop here. If you have any classes like the shaman need there "get this at level 10 quest" do that now as this will simply be a breeze since you are so high of a level compared to the quest level. Now as you log on your characters to level them move 1 by 1 to the crossroads, I had tried to keep my Undead doing quests in Silverpine, but there is basically only "2 quests per level" in Silverpine compared to the "5-6 quests a level" at the crossroads and ratchet, not to mention the Tauren camp south of crossroads. You can find the level of a quest by using a third party program such as CT. When you get to the crossroads make sure you tag the flight path there, as you run around getting the quests from the NPC's there you will get a supply quest to go to Orgrimar or ThunderBluff, DO NOT go there yet as you should do this quest when you level to 16-18-20 so you can train at the same time instead of making 2 separate trips. When you start to do quests here be picky because ALL my characters hit there "20 quests limit" in the quest book and there were still plenty of quests to take. Also now since you are a few levels higher then the quests do them in "phases", for example: Do the plainstrider, raptor heads, disrupting the attacks, quests right there close to crossroads as these are all in the same area. You could also head west out of the crossroads to the little outpost there and start doing the "kolkar" quests as well as the quests that involve the little oasis to the NW of crossroads.(If you find any "booty keys", this opens the chest by the boss in the hut, that looks different from all the other tents, you can only carry one, but after you use it you can obtain a key again. Then just repeat over and over, isn't this what we all want? FREE BOOTY! - some of the items are really needed also - lots of greens) After you hit 20 if you want to do your elite quests now is the time, you will still need a group though, the elite quests that I found were: Ragefire(in Orgrimar at the Shadow Cleft) Pyrewood(South of the Sepulcher, I would not go all the way back there though unless you already had a group to do it) and Wailing Caverns, which really you should wait a few more levels for.

Midgame Guide Mage Leveling

First off if you're looking for fast WoW Gold I recommend The MMORPG Exchange. They're easy to deal with, they have great prices, and their support is excellent. They're my secret weapon for fast gold! I highly recommend them, okay let's continue…

This is a guide to leveling as a mage. I'll touch on subjects such as: leveling methods, specs, and gear.

The class
The mage is part of the holy trinity of MMO-classes: warrior, priest, mage. The mage is the king of DPS (especially after 1.11) and crowdcontrol (CC) and has utility as well (water/food/portals/buffs).

Leveling methods
As a mage you have 50% more options to level, than other classes have. Whichever you choose, I highly suggest doing nothing but instances from 58-60 to gear up and get all your key quests done. Not doing so, means missing out on a huge amount of XP.

The traditional ways are:

Grinding:
Not much to say about this. You kill mobs, they give XP, you lvl. If you don't have a comprehensive knowledge of where quests take you and which order is best, grinding is pretty fast for leveling.
It can be pretty boring, but listening to music or being on Vent/TS helps a lot. Get a rhytm going and stay in it. Take breaks when you mana up to not go completely blind :)

The following is pretty good list of where to grind which mobs. It is however from a Horde perspective and you need to scroll down a bit to get to the guide :) If you read the whole bit, there are some suggestions for alternatives, which work just as well...if not better.
http://www.mpsgames.com/ms/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=31653&categoryid=20&forumid=63

And the following lists some nice alliance spots for grinding. Also are some suggestions on questing.
http://www.wow-pro.com/Knowledge_Base/op=show/kid=515.html

Questing:
If you know your way around the world, this is the fastest way to level up. This is also known as gresting to some. Decent horde guides are few and far between (there are some on this site), alliance have it a lot better.

Horde - if you are horde, use Joana's guide. That will take you from 1-60 in 5 days /played. It's written from a hunter perspective, so my suggestion is staggering your progress in the guide by a lvl or two. Other than that, there are some (admittedly with holes in them) guides here in the strat section. An idea is to try and modify the following Alliance guide.
http://forums.blizzhackers.com/viewtopic.php?t=309717 is the text guide (thanks Bay_Cassius
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=wow+world+of+warcraft+levels are links to all the videos (thanks sQren)

Alliance - if you are Alliance, you got it made! The following guide will quickly and easily take you from 30-60. Reason it's 30, is because of the quests pre that are in and around the starter areas, so just level quickly to 30 and you are set.
http://www.wow-pro.com/Knowledge_Base/cat=135.html

AOE'ing:
This is where the mage can level differently. By using their Area of Effect spells, they can decimate scores of lower level enemies, thus gaining experience quickly.
The most comprehensive guide to AOE spots is from the official WOW forums
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-mage&t=48467&p=1&tmp=1#post48467

Doing it this way, takes some learning and it goes a lot smoother if you duo'ing, either with another AOE class or a healer. But you will level pretty quickly.

Talent Specs
For leveling I recommend Fire, then arcane or frost. For optimal leveling, you should respec at 58-60, when you start to raid. When you start to end-game raid, you should respec once again. I will also make a mage end-game guide, where I will touch upon these points.

Some people recommend ice for leveling, especially after 1.11, but I still prefer fire: damage from frost is dependent on crits and fire isn't so much. The base fireball has higher DPS than frost and with fire you have longer range.
Here is a small discussion of fire vs frost.
http://www.mpsgames.com/ms/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=36492

This is the spec I suggest for leveling. This works very well when grinding, since you can DPS relatively well in melee with scorch or wand. Of course, it also works for gresting :) :
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?k0gV0oZEgGzf0ut
13/38 ARC/FIRE

Focus on improving your fireball up to lvl 40 (reduced cast time first, then stun. Rest is up to you), then put 7 points in arcane up to wands, then the rest in fire and finally the last points in arcane.

Method of pulling: Max range, then Pyroblast, Fireball, Fireball and then either fireblast/scorch/wand until dead (if you are lazy) or Frost Nova, get range, Fireballs until dead.

This is the spec I suggest for AOE'ing. It's based around frost and it's AOE abilities.
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?ocxVcoZZVVMIsbtho
17/34 ARC/ICE
Go up through through ice to improved Blizzard, then fill out arcane, then go ice until 60.

Method of AOE'ing: If the mobs are grouped, get max range, pop Ice Barrier and Blizzard them. You should be able to get 2 off. Then Frost Nova and Cone of Cold and Arcane Explosion until they die. If things get too hot, Ice Block, Frost Snap, Frost Nova, Ice Barrier, get range and repeat.

Gear
If you are grinding or gresting, you should go for +dam gear. Fireballs are on a 3.5 sec cast time, so get the full effect from the damage gear. Mana isn't really a concern since you have free drinks. Sip after every pull or every other pull, then you'll be fine.
If you are AOE'ing, you need a mix of INT and STAM if you don't have a healing buddy. You will mostly be casting instants or long channeled spells, so you will not get so much use out of damage.

When you start getting to 50+, this is a list of damage gear you should get:

And to further supplement the above list, this is from the official forums:

WoW Mining Guide

First off if you're looking for fast WoW Gold I recommend The MMORPG Exchange. They're easy to deal with, they have great prices, and their support is excellent. They're my secret weapon for fast gold! I highly recommend them, okay let's continue…

Mining in World of Warcraft is one of the best gold makers. Just be sure to sell your stuff in the Auction House in smelted stacks. The Buy Out option is one of your best advantages when you sell so make sure you use it. It's usually best to smelt copper and tin into bronze or vice Versa. Be sure to check the going price and figure out if selling the bases or the product will sell for more.

Lower level mining skill of course wouldn't make you as much as being on top of the chart and we know it may be a little difficult or frustrating to level. It may take about 1 hour to get to tin level so its not too bad. However tin is a little more aggravating. Near ashenvale there is a place with harpies that has a few nice spots. From there stick to the wall and go south, head over to South Barrens. Go around Scorpid, Bristleback and Razormane and you should be able to level your tin in no time.

Mithril is the key to making the most World of Warcraft gold. Engineering and Blacksmiths both need massive amounts to produce the items with their skills. Mithril usually sells off extremely fast a nice price in the auction house.

In southern Kalimdor you'll find Tanaris, a level 40-50 zone. There are many mineral ores that will make you filthy rich. You can start at Gadgetzan and cut across the desert to start. Be sure to check all the rocks and croppings along the way. The place is dangerous with alot of spawns. Travel along the edge, and then back along the outter boundary circling the map. Thistleshrub valley also has a few hot spots along with Un'Goro crater, Zul'Farrak and the areas close to Gadgetzan. Mining mithril may be a bit hard at low level, but the having the copper and tin will help you get some extra gold to spare until higher level. If you're level 50 you should be able to farm mithril fine.
