Welcome to my World of Warcraft blog! Here i post hints, exploits, cheats, updates, guide and faq for this game. Most of my post is merely copy and paste, and i taken it from other sites, since i don't play well and can't write well. I'll try to write some guide and articles on that. Well, hope you enjoy! You also can find more WoW guide from link at the sidebar!

WOW Exploit Become the Guild Master or Kick the GM

Here's how you do it, you have to have access to an account/character with promote/demote constitutional rights to become the GM. In order to kick the GM, you have to have kick agreement.

Here's how it's done. You log into an alt with the agreement you need for what you want to achieve. If you want to become the GM, type /gpromote 'yourmain'sname' (note: the character you do this to has to be offline) and spam it a few times for good evaluate. It should say (name)'s rank is too high.

To kick your guild master, just wait til he's offline and then type /gremove 'playername'. It will say player's rank is too high.

How these work is they both give the usual error messages, but when the character it was done to logs in, they will either be GM or be kicked, depending on what you did. A note about becoming GM though, your rank that you were before you logged in stays the same on the guild tab, but you have access to everything a GM does, including /gleader and /gdisband.

Re-useable enchanted items for powerlevelling

I checked the guides up to page 5 and searched for 'white item'; nothing came up so hopefully this isn't a re:

Anyways I make alot of lowbie chars. Now Lowbie chars are exceptionally simple to powerlevel, obviously. However time is time and being the efficiency freak that I am I find it exceedingly useful to cut that time down as much as possible. Particularly since I love getting to 19 for bg pwnage.

That aside, I found that you can make a set of enchanted 'twink' powerlevelling items for your ultra-lowbie chars to ensure maximum efficiency when grinding/powerlevelling. Since I mostly stick with melee chars (pally/warrior) I only did mail but it does apply to all classes in the same respect.

The basic theory is that white items are comparable to greens of the same level in terms of raw armor/dps/etc without the bonuses to stamina or what not. At ultra low levels (generally below level ten) you find most of the greens are .. marginal .. at best. Enchanting them simply makes no sense since you will ultimately destroy/sell/de them later.

However if you take a white (not a grey, that's substandard) item you will say it is NOT soulbound. This means you can take an item with basically the same base stats (again, ac/dps/etc) and enchant it with a mid-high level enchant. Then at that point you can take said item and use it to speed up your levelling.

There are several attractive benefits to this:
A) Speedwalk shoes. I always build a set of cloth shoes (wearable by any class) with the 'minor speed' enchant for +8% move speed. That's 8% less time you spend running around the world, so 8% more time which can be spent to levelling. I also use it in bg for swapping between this and my 'battle set' of stamina enchanted gear for more versatility.
When you finally get a char either a mount or a speed increase through skills (ghostwolf/cheetah/etc) then you can mail this to your next lowbie. Saves you about 7 gold per char.

B) At low levels stamina is ridiculously important. I found that simply enchanting a pair of boots with +5 stam and bracers with +5 stam nearly DOUBLED my hp until about level 8 or 9. This made it considerably easier to powerlevel that char on a near non-stop basis. And that wasn't even when I had my REALLY good set of stam gear!

C) Reduced trips to the auction house. Now you can just slap on a set of gear from 1-15 and gun through the levels. You can do it on higher level whites too but realistically it's less beneficial since the greens/blues are of better value.

D) Savings in money. Obviously it makes little sense to enchant every pair of items you get, but having one set you can use for every character you make on a server's faction is extremely beneficial.

This is pretty much it. It's especially useful for cloaks (+70 armor makes it have extremely good longevity) and bracers/gloves/feet.

Happy hunting!

WOW Guides - How to get 11K HP and Uncrushable Pre-Kara

Ok as promised here is my gear list..

Now before i go into this there are few things everyone should know about paladins (and all these can be looked up on the armory if you care to do a little research and know ANYTHING about math.

These are:

Pally base HP is 3377
When you add in stam (including the base Stam) your HP gained are (Stam*10)-180

Therefore your total HP is (stam*10)-3197+HPGAINED ((this last bit is enchants that are just HP) )

For avoidance (now note i am adding block here into avoidance even tho it is technically mitigation - the reason i am doing this is because block counts towards your total avoidance goal of 102.4%)

So the avoidance equations are:

Def: [(rating/2.4)+20]/25*4 = total avoidance from def

Parry: rating/35.1 + base (usually 5 or 10%) = parry percentage

Dodge: rating/18.9 + base (this is usually 5% but may be slightly different) = dodge percentage

Block: rating/7.9 + base (Usually 5%) = block percentage

Miss: base miss of 5% + [(def over 350)-(350)]*.04

Now we're not going to subtract anything from these because we're already calculating it in with our goal being 102.4%

Ok now that all that fun stuff is out of the way... lets get to the gear. (skip to the end if all you want is the summary of stats) ::

Head: Helm of Righteousness

Trinket 2: Figurine of the Colossus
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27529

Weapon: Continuum Blade
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29185
Enchant: Major Spellpower
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=27975

Shield: Crest of the Sha'tar
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29176
Enchant: Shield Block
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=27946

Libram: Libram of Repentance
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29388

Gems: Solid Star of Elune
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24033

Ok now for the summary of all those stats.

Sta: 467 (from gear) + 123 (base for a BE) + 192 (16 gem slots all filled with +12sta gems) = 782 * 1.06(the talent any decent protadin will have) == 828.92 stam

Def: 345 Rating: [(345/2.4)+20]/25*4 = 26.2 avoidance from Def (block/dodge/parry/miss)

Block: 82 Rating: 82/7.9 = 10.4 Avoidance

Dodge: 118 Rating: 118/18.9 = 6.24 Avoidance

Parry: 0 = 0

SO:

That stam == 11,606 Hp
Total Block = 21.95
Total Dodge = 17.79
Total Parry = 16.55
Total miss = 11.55
Block From HS = 35%

All this together makes :

HP = 11606
Avoidance = 102.8%

So as i said 11.5k HP and Uncrushable.

Oh and if you don't want to go to heroics for the belt or boots... you can replace them with:

Flesh Beast's Metal Greaves
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29325

And

Sha'tari Vindicator's Waistguard
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31460

Now this will drop you down about 50 sta or 530 Hp's But personally i think 11k and uncrushable is fine if you don't want to deal with the heroics before Kara.

Oh and as a side note... if anyone finds fault in my math here PLEASE let me know... this is all the gear I am going for so it would be nice if i could know before hand that i'm wrong LOL (though i know i'm not)

Lethals Pocket Guide to Efficient Leveling

[5] Tips * Request or Email *
----------------------------
This guide was created to help people understand that leveling is
a form of experience. I am making this to share my experiences
with all of you. Leveling can be done efficiently, and hassle free
if you know what you are doing. So sit back grab a cold one and
enjoy my guide. Any questions or comments email me at:
lethal.xzodus@gmail.com
==================
[1] The Basics

Leveling a new race or a faction you have no experience
with can be a little tricky; but they all have one thing in common:
Quests, yes Quests not Monsters. The time it takes to level depends
on how efficiently and how quick you finish the Quests. Here are
some tips if you just started out; the are Alliance and Horde compat:

1. Always start with the beginning quests because they are probably
chain quests that yield armour/weapons that can help you out.

2. Next, get surrounding quests that lead to the same area or near it,
its normally not a good idea to run back and forth until you complete
quests that finish in the same area anyway.

3. If you get really far away from the starting area or inn near the
area, just hearth back. Don’t do this if you know you are going back
just walk back; especially if the quests are along the way to turn in.

4. If you bag gets full of junk items and you cant get quest items
because of that, just trash the junk items; remember you want to level,
you always have time at level 60 to make money.

5. Do not group into parties or raids unless it is an instance that
requires it (or an outdoor boss like Hogger and such) because it
decreases your XP rate per-hour.

6. If you need help; ask for it on General Chat only, chances are some-
one else is probably doing that quest to or some are helping low-levels.

7. Don’t screw around; PvP Raids, Battlegrounds, Auction House.
Unless, your quest or stuff like that demand it then do so.

8. Do not work on professions, it drains your money, your time for
leveling; so unless you want to have 3-10 hours added to your leveling
time go ahead and do so. There are no required quests that demand a
profession, there are only optional ones.

9. Do not Idle, if you want to go AFK log-out to the character select
screen, so you save time when you /played in chat.
10. Lastly for the Basics, Do not do quests that require you to go to
another area far away until you’ve completed all the quests in the
surrounding area, that way it saves time and the frustration to you.
==================
[2] Advanced Techniques

There are techniques out there that the pros don’t want you
to know; I say screw them, this is an MMO not a FPS game. Heres
some advanced techniques that will blow your socks off, some are
just so simple yet have a drastic effect.

1. Ask your guild to help; its simple, you aggro, hit them once or
more, they AoE; if they are a priest have them heal you. This works
best with a massive amount of greens or yellow mobs. Elite’s work
to, just tone it down a bit or you may die.

2. Your Class/Race combo will depend on how fast you level, that’s
right ! If you choose a race that’s meant for magic, but pair it with
melee, you will find yourself having a harder time than those who chose
a Race that’s meant for Melee. Check my guide at this URL for pairing:
http://www.taultunleashed.com/phpBB2/post-255628.html#255628

3. Does your gear really matter in leveling? well check out the Myths
part of this guide to find out if that’s true or not.

4. Leveling fast means being on a lot; have a friend you really trust
that plays the game play when your not online. I have a person on Xfire
who lives in the UK who’s playing on my account when I’m offline
because of our time-zone differences; it’s night over there when its day
here. * I am not responsible if you get your account stolen, neither is
www.taultunleashed.com nor www.xunleashed.com *

5. Does Horde or Alliance level faster? Well, simply put; go to the
myths section to find out the answer to this age-old question.
==================
[3] Myths Exposed

Here I exposed Myths that are either misunderstood game-
facts or just simply stupid. I am here to bust them with my Hammer
of Justice (not the Flying Dildo of Wrath). Its either Busted, or Real;
theres no Plausible like MythBusters (I think they should host a WoW
edition of it though).

1. Does Horde or Alliance level faster?
Simply put; Neither, they are exactly the same. WTF? , You say?
Well, Alliance quests and Mobs are so close together (and considering
that most Alliance are nubs) people think they are accomplishing the
quests faster. That’s false and I’ll tell you why, when things are closer
together you feel more relaxed and easy-going which to the Human
brain means time seems to be passing by faster. Well, when it comes to
Horde quests, omfg, they are all spread out and you start to panic a bit,
about if you are going to finish the quest before you log off or if you
level up before you do so. This releases a chemical by the name of:
neurogenesis, which leads to stress, this makes you feel as though its
taking forever to get something done (as I’m feeling writing this), but
its exactly the same time played as both; people say this because they
are either new to the faction or are not efficient at leveling that race.
With, that said; I hear by declare this Myth; BUSTED!

2. Does gear matter when leveling ?
Well, after playing a level 60 in each class, except Paladin; I have to say
maybe. Why? because it depends on your class; if you want to level fast
as a melee player you must have decent to OK gear to do so. Theres a
level of tolerance with gear; You can’t be a level 60 using level 12 gear
because it just won’t work * amazing how you go to 60 *, but if you a
60 using 40-50 gear that totally expectable to get there. I remember I
was a level 40 using level 30 gear because I was getting my mount, or
I wanted to level fast so I could raid with my guild, and was a level 56
using a level 45 sword and level 35-48 gear. It all depends on how fast
you want to level. Because of that; this is a guide to leveling fast so;
this Myth is; BUSTED!

Have any more Myths or such that you want busted ? email it
to me at : jroy.fke@gmail.com (please no spamming, thanks )
==================
[4] Hints

Here are some hints for you to get maximum performance out
of your computer and our leveling experience, have fun and post things
that you want added or email me at : jroy.fke@gmail.com

1. Install Addons that are specific to the class you want to level, this
makes it easier for you to have a handled grip over your classes full
potential, while saving you the time of configuring your Addons with a
generic Addon.

2. For best frame-rates turn down Anti-Aliasing or turn down Texture
details; do not turn down World Detail because that decreases how far
you can see; in extreme cases set the game to Window Mode through the
Video Options.

3. Set your Talent specs for PvE, publicly called Grinding. This will
help you efficiently cut through any mobs in your way. Go to this URL:
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/TemplateList.php?mytemplates=0&skillclassid=-1
Select your class and have fun

4. For anything class/race related go to my Class/Race pairing guide at:
http://www.taultunleashed.com/phpBB2/post-255628.html#255628
==================

Hope you all enjoyed this guide; not exactly a pocket guide, but
it sounds good hehe, this guide is Burning Crusade Compatible *BCC*
Have fun, and welcome back to Azeroth; my the Fragging begin, woot!

Talents for Speed-Leveling

Talents for Leveling

This should give you an idea of how you should choose your talents for best leveling purposes.
Talents, lvl 10-40(shadow tree). There's a great JavaScript talent calculator here:

http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?rZZxMLt0xRt

Now you have 'Spirit Tap' the best skill for leveling/grinding, with this you could kill mobs that are around your level range without even having downtime. (That means no mana drinking, if you use this talent right you could grind mobs for hours not drinking mana)
Note: When engaging an enemy always have the sheild up before you start attacking ( recast the sheild as soon as you ge the spiritbuff if possible)
And remember the wand is your friend, saves mana and does very nice damage, you should always check the action house for a better wand than your current, every few levels.
And now when you've reached 40, and have spent 31 points into the Shadow tree, its time to get some nice talents from the Discipline tree.

Talents, lvl 40-60(Discipline tree)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?rVMGshZZxMxt0xRt
(Notice that We've put the last point into Shadow Focus in the Shadow tree)

This specc is purely for Leveling, after you hit 60 we've got some other speccs for you.

PvP spec(the facemelter)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?rxMGoZZEMMtctRt
This is mainly for pvp but if you get some nice gear you could be doing damage instead of healing in Instances.

PvE spec(the healer)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?dxgus00oZfxLcc0qL
This is the healer build, it can look like many things 31/20/0, 18/33/0 etc, mess around with it see what fits you.

EASY WoW Gold for lvl 13-20

A newer item, Zhevra Leather, can be found in all Zhevra creatures.

Zhevra Runners
Zhevra Coursers
Zhevra Chargers

I have found that the Zhevra Runners (lowest level of them all) have the highest drop rate. The leather can sell for 2-4g each depending on the server. In about 30 minutes i gathered 10 Zhevra Leather and sold them for 20g. The reason they sell is because for some reason the leather is used to make very rare items and some people who can make the items don't want to go farm it for themselves... easy enought right?

So go try it for yourselves... Happy Trails!

Lethals Alliance 1-70 Guide

* NOT A NEWBIE FRIENDLY GUIDE *
* ONLY USE IF YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY WOW AKA LEVELED A 60 OR A 70 MORE THAN ONCE*
------------------------

PLEASE NOTE:

I hopefully made this point around, this is more of a 'pocket' guide that;
If your familiar with your class, and faction; you will have no trouble
understanding this, this is the original format I made for my guildies, so
its quick to read, hopefully quick to understand. I made this guide based
on my experience, plus it take skill to find a good grinding spot, sure
ANYONE can find one, but finding the right one; with less aggro than some
places, a healthy amount of mobs, and a place that you will not get
ganked (hopefully); thats what made this guide take 1 1/2 months for me
to make, because I had to find the right locations and test it constantly.
By all means if you do not want to level fast and enjoy the game do so
(you cannot pvp, level a proffesion, nor do anything, but leveling), this
guide was meant for people that play EVERYDAY, not just one day here
and one day there.

Yes, grinding is tedious, but its the most efficient way to do it, and
farming/leveling companys use that method, I'm not defending that theres
a lack of detail; I did it that way on purpose so it makes it easier to
follow, and not clouded by useless info, by where and why to go; who
needs that when you've leveled a character to 60 or 70? You know it well
enough to find these locations; to set this short, I made this guides 'lack
of info' on purpose for well-informed player to follow easily, if you want a
guide that get you to 60 or 70, but in much much more time (doing
professions, extra quests, and such along that line), go with Kopp/James
guide for Alliance. BTW I'm planning to update this to 1-70, when I have
confirmed and tested it.

=============

Obviously everyone has a different way to do it and mine is not the best,
or the most efficient way to do it. But here are a few things I did to level :

1a. For speed leveling - you should not be afraid to fight when you are in
low hp/mana. I kept pulling on my Shaman until I was down to about 10%
hp and 10% Mana. That cuts down on med time.

1b. The key is to grind on mobs that are 1 or 2 lvls above you and
complete quests while you are doing this

2. You're going spend tons on food/water/bandages

3a. for casters, buy good wands every few levels. Get cookie's stirring rod
from VC and buy the rest as you go. Maybe a new wand every 5-7 levels.
That way you can cut down on med time by wanding the mob when it is at
10% health so you can naturally start to regen mana

3b. for melee - bandage ,bandage, bandage and buy good weapons every
few levels

3c. if you can afford it, pimp yourself out (caster get +dmg gear, melee
get +attack power gear) the harder you hit, the faster things die, the
faster you get xp. Even that means you spend more time sitting down
eating/drinking (that only takes 15 seconds max)

*NEW*

4. Don't waste time doing PvP or leveling a profession, it just wastes time.

4b. Ok, please note that you MUST PLAY WOW everyday in order for this to do it, not one day here, one day there.

4c. If you are going to be out more than 1/2 a day from WoW, make sure you put your Avatar (Character) at an inn or a capital city to get rest XP.

Here’s what to do:

The Times listed are w/out rested XP

Human/Gnome/Dwarf -
Nooby zone (1 - 6.5) - yes, get to 6.5 ... that means killing just a handful
of extra mobs. If you are just grinding and doing quests this should take
you 1hr

** now go to IF or SW and pick up skinning (this will help offset the costs
of buying your gear and buying food/water) Highly recommend that you
spend 20g and get yourself 4 runecloth bags. In order to power level
yourself you can't be going back to town to sell things every hour

Outside IF/SW (6.5-11) - pick one (don't go between SW and IF cuz that
takes way too long) you're going to need to grind a bit but this will take
you 3-4 hrs of played time (again, no chatting is involved here ... typing
just slows down your DPS and slows down your leveling) ^_^

Loch Modan (11-13) - the first few quests here are easy to do. Kill spiders,
bears, boars. Kill little kobolds. Kill trolls. You can skin and get cloth to
make bandages. 2 hrs played

Westfall (13-16) - Complete all the level 12 quests and then grind on the
Harvest Golem/Watchers near the north part of Westfall. There should be 3
farms that have level 11-13 mobs. Then grind on the higher level ones on
the West until you hit 16. While you're running around the farms, grinding
on these mobs - complete the other westfall quests. 4 hrs played

*be sure to do the defias brother hood quests

*don't forget to pick up the quest 'dry times' and start buying the alcohol
form the different places

Loch Modan (16-1Cool - come back here and do a few more quests. You
should be able to complete them quickly since you are such high level.
Don't forget the quests in the digging site to the east and the other building
all the way in the southeast corner (i forget the name of it) 4 hrs played

Redridge (18-20) – quest, quest, quest and grind on Murlocks or the
Kobolds (forget what they are called but they are all over the mountains to
the north) 4 hrs played

**DING ** have someone run you through the Deadmines 2-4 times (until
you get some nice gear) 2 hrs played

You should now be at 1 day /played

Redridge (21-23) - quest and grind on Orcs on the north east part of RR 4
hrs played

WETLANDS (23-25) - quest/grind on murlocks, crocs, the undead pirates,
the invisible dudes that walk in the river, the gnolls, etc (do not do the Orc
quests yet) 4 hrs played

Darkshire (25-2Cool – quest, quest, quest - the wolf guys, the comb quest,
the Undeads in the cemetery, etc, etc 5 hrs played

**find a kind soul to take you to the stockades (do all the quests there in
one run, not worth it to get gear)

Wetlands (28.5-30) - do the orc quests, raptor quests and then grind it out
on either one (Orcs if you need bandages, raptors if you want skins) 5 hrs
played

*if you can, find someone to help you with the last few Darkshire quest
(morbent fel, etc)

Hillsbrad Foothills (30-31.5) - these quest are probably green to you (if
they are grey and not part of a chain, skip them). You should be able to
kill Nagas and Murlocks on the south and get good xp. You can also do the
defias quests really quick. 2 hrs played

Alterac Mountains (31.5-33) - grind in the cave to the north (on the way to
AV) and then yetis ... just grind 6 hrs played

**DING you should be at 2 days /played** (maybe a little more if you
have been chatting it up

Arathi Highlands (33-35) - some quick quests here - you can grind on Orcs
or trolls

**at this time, have someone take you to SM and do some quests there. If
they can, run you through until you get some nice gear (class dependent
obviously) and you should be able to get a level or two from there.
Ideally, they would run you through the whole thing 4 hrs played -
obviously you may not find someone to dedicate 4 hrs for you, so go to
STV and start your quests there too ...

STV (34-40) - let me break this one down for you

**the key here is to pick up as many quests as you can, and complete
them all before turning them in. STV is FULL of chain quests. Kurzen camp
quests, Mastery quests, Troll tribes, etc**

(34-35) your first set of quests should get you a full level. Grind as much
as you can in the kurzen camp since its usually safe from ganking

(35-37) troll tribes (getting the tablets) and 2nd series of masteries and
the geologist co quests.

**@ 37 go to STV and pick up quests there

(37-40) singing blue shards, apes, raptors, tigers, panthers and troll
tooths? or whatever it is you need to collect from trolls. 20 hrs played

**if at any point you get tired of STV, go back to Arathi or if you really
hate grinding, go to Desolace or even Badlands

**or if you find someone nice, they'll take you to gnomeragan **

**DING - go buy your mount** /played 3 days

***I'll stop posting how much time it should take you so no one will get
depressed and hurt themselves but it slows down a lot from this point on,
now you really need to start buying that +dmg +ap gear***

(from this point on 40-50 should be about 4 hrs per level on average and
50-60 should be about 5-6 hrs per level)

(plus the levels specified from this point on are more strict, for example - I
wouldn't recommend going to sorrow hill before you are 50 cuz its not
efficient - same thing for Un'Goro before level 52)

Alterac Mountains (40-42) - Ogres (non elite) + humanoids (quest/grind)

Tanaris (42-45) - wasteland wanderers (grind, grind, grind) - get water
pouches and just grind. Trust me on this, you need to start grinding some
or you'll run out of quests and get stuckin between zones)

STV (45-46.5) - finish the quests here (pirates, Zanzil secret/Nagas, apes,
etc)

Tanaris (46.5-4Cool - Ogres (again grind, grind, grind) - you can pick up
quests in Tanaris and complete them if you want, but its faster to just grind
right now

Searing Gorge (48-50) - quests are fast and grinding is easy. Don't bother
getting the searing gorge key ... you'll never run through that door ...

Western Plaguelands (50-51) - sorrow hill - Chillwind point.

**I know this place is super camped so if you can't find pulls there, go
back to Searing Gorge or Feralas (there is a repeatable quest there on the
shore (right after you take the boat the little goblin there gives it)) or
even Azshara (but watch out for the farmers there!)

Felwood (51-52) - some quests, some grinding. Don't bother doing the
quests in the north by the cave that leads to Winterspring. Just do
whatever is green/yellow so that would be the first Furlbog quests +
Jadenar + whatever other quests you pick up from the south part of
Felwood

Un'Goro (52-54) - Bring your Mithril casing! (2 escort quests + lots of kill
quests + some travel back and forth between here and Tanaris)

**its important that you grind whatever part of your level is left

WPL (54-55) - finish quests here (cauldrons + scarlet + whatever else you
can find) and then grind

Azshara - Felwood (55-56) - GRIND! or do whatever quests you still
haven't done here (you could grind on Ogres in Burning Steppes too)

Winterspring (56-57) - quests + grinding (you might want to go to
Darnassus first, in the Therussian village you can pick up a quest for
Azshara and another for Winterspring)

EPL (57-5Cool - lots of good quests here, just that you run into the occasional
horde party going to Strath

*NEW* * Outlands*
Hellfire Peninsula (58-60) 1.5 Hours = 1 LEVEL!
Quest, Grind; this equals uber XP.

**again, this guide shows a lot of grinding but its helpful if you stay in one
zone until you level.**

Hellfire Peninsula (60-62)
Do ALL the quests you see, most quests gives you 10k xp or more, also do instances for gear and stuff.

Zangarmarsh (62-64)
Do all the quests that there are to do, its the best way to level, groups quests can be a pain so make sure you have buddies that can help you out. on occasion do instances for quests, xp, and loot.

Terrokar Forest (64-65 * or 66)
Quest, quest, quest; get a buddy to help you out with group quests. Once again do instances for quests, xp, and loot.

Nagrand (65-67)
I'm tired of putting Quest, quest, quest, but Quest, Quest, Quest! Also once again Instances, Instances, Instances!

Blade Edge Mountain (67-6Cool
Quest, then work your way into Netherstorm.

Netherstorm (68-69 * maybe 70)
Again Quest

Shadowmoon Valley * If your not 70 * (69-70)
Quest, then OMG Ding, gratz on your 70

WoW Favorite Grinding Spots

First is the cave in UnÂ’goro crater that is filled with apes (the cave where A-me is for the quest). These gorillas are fairly easy to kill and drop lots of valuable vendor trash like their whiskers and regularly drop greens and some blues. Just on the gray trash items alone you can make around 10g an hour just grinding here.

My next favorite is the troll temple in Eastern Plaguelands. I guess this place is just so far away that no one seems to want to bother with it. These trolls drop lots of green items, the occasional blue, and I know friends who have seen epics drop off of them as well. TheyÂ’re good for runecloth and powerful mojo as well. The other nice perk of this area is that itÂ’s full of thorium (4 rich weins) and high end herbs also.

Deadwind Pass is also great for farming for items. No one really is here when I farm it. IÂ’d expect to see farmers or just others players hanging out here but no one ever really is. There are a ton of high level ogres with great loot and when you go down to the Karazhan area you will find a haunted town that has humanoids that drop great coin and runecloth.

Arcane crystals will skyrock with prices since it is required for Tier3 items here is 2 best spots:

Hearthglen Mine that is in Northern Western Plaguelands. There is often one rich thorium vein outside the mine and then another 2 inside of it. Thy all seem to have a very fast respawn time and the ones inside the mine are guarded by groups of 2 non-elite miners that most classes can easily distract or solo. I have seen 2 arcane crystals drop from just one of these veins!

The second of my favorite locations is in Southern Winterspring near the barred off entrance to the unopened Hyjal area. This is in the dangerous Darkwhisper Gorge. It is full of level 60 and 61 elites that hit really hard but I have successfully walked the entire way to the end without stealth and it can be done if you are careful. Obviously if you can feign death or stealth it gets even easier. There are usually an additional 4-5 (yes!) rich thorium veins in this area.

Crafting Leatherworking 1-200

k, first off, leatherworking is a resource hog. I spent a grip of gold powerleveling this profession just to 200. We will start with an itemization based on the items I used to get to 200. As always, your milage may vary and these are not my hard numbers used to get to 200. These numbers are what you should expect to consume during the leveling process.

Light leather: 255 (sure seemed like more)
Medium leather: 160
Heavy leather: 200

Light hide: 0
Medium hide: 25
Heavy hide: 20

Course thread: 150
Fine thread: 65
Silken thread: 10

Grey dye: 20
Green dye: 10

Salt: 85

Now that you have all your consumables, itÂ’s time to start craftingÂ….and craftingÂ….and CRAFTING.

1-30: Light armor kits
30-40: Light leather quiver
40-50: Light armor kit
50-55: Hand stitched leather boots
55-90: Embossed leather gloves
90-100: Fine leather belt
100-115: Medium armor kit
115-125: Dark leather boots
125-135: Dark leather belt
135-150: HillmanÂ’s shoulders
150-180 Heavy armor kit
180-190: Green leather bracers
190-200: Guardian gloves

All the items I chose to grind on were either with resale in mind (to offset the cost of mats) or pure skill ups. IÂ’ll go over each item and detail my reason for choosing it.

Light armor kits: No brainer. They take 1 light leather and are yellow all the way to 50. They sell ok on the AH too.

Light leather quiver: These take 2 light leather and 1 course thread. Every hunter wants (or should want) one so resale is great. They are orange to 40 so take the guaranteed skill up.

Light armor kits: We go back to light armor kits because itÂ’s just smart due to the minimal resources. ItÂ’s yellow but if youre on a budget itÂ’s the way to go.

Handstitched leather boots: Filler item just to get to 55. Vendor trash.

Embossed leather gloves: Good for grinding because of the low resources used. More vendor trash

Fine leather belt: Another grey grinder to get to 100. **DONÂ’T VENDOR THESE** (YouÂ’ll see why in a bit)

Medium armor kits: Just like light armor kits, they are reasonable on the resources and will sell on the AH.

Dark leather boots: Filler item. Vendor trash

Dark leather belt: THIS is the reason we kept those fine leather belts. Almost no resources (minus the hide) and these things sell well on the AH. I put 4 up at 50s and they all sold first time. IÂ’m betting you can get more.

HillmanÂ’s shoulders: The perfect grinding item. Reasonable resources and they sell very well. These shoulders are the first decent green for an up and coming rogue/feral druid. DE is also an option but youÂ’ll do better to AH them.

Heavy armor: Same as light and medium armor kits. AH them or give them out to guildies.

Green leather bracers: Nothing exciting about these. Crappy stats but the best option for leveling at this point. I recommend DE for the vision dust/GME

Guardian gloves: Vendor trash.

Well, there you have it. Leatherworking 1-200 with full itemization. This is not the be all end all of LW grinding but more of a guide for those looking for a quick, semi-painless way to power level. These are many other patterns that sell well while youre climbing the LW ladder. Give those a try if youre skilling up while you level your character.

ENJOY!!!

Tailoring 1-300 Guide

This guide will show you how to get your tailoring skill up from 0 to 300. The guide will only use recipe's available at a trainer until 275 and vendor available recipe's from 275 to 300.

This guide only uses recipes that require cloth and vendor bought material (thread, dye). The only exceptions are the vendor bought recipe's to get to 300 which require rugged leather. The leather needed is easely aquired through skinning or the auction house.

This guide does not tell you how to get all the different recipe's from quests, vendors or drops. What you do once you hit 300 is entirely up to you.

This guide is primarily aimed at those who want to switch profession at high level or have high level alts, friends or guildmembers.

Preparation

You are going to need a lot of linen and wool cloth and huge amounts of silk, mageweave and runecloth. Create an alt storage character to store these amounts of cloth and then farm (or have an alt farm) for the cloth needed. Use the ingame mail system to send the cloth to the storage character. You may need more than one storage character. Don't forget to send some gold to the storage character, so she can send the cloth back.
Once you have all the components collected, everything has to be send back to your main character. The mailbox only shows the first 50 items you have in the mail. It also puts the last item send to you on top. So to avoid complications send the components you need first last: i.e the linen cloth are needed first, so these are the last to be send back to your main, after the wool, silk, etc.

The recipe's used require vendor bought components such as threads and dye. These cost gold. To learn recipe's from a trainer also costs gold. The amount of gold needed is aproximately 40 to 50 gold if you farm all of the cloth. If you want to buy everything you need from the auction house expect to spend upwards to 250 gold. This does not include gold for recipe's from vendors or the auction house.

Below is a table that shows the amount of cloth needed. The minimum amount column shows the minimum amount needed if you would get a skill point every time you make something. However at some point a recipe will be yellow or even green when you make something so you won't allways get a skill point. The estimated amount column deals with this, so try to get the estimated amount of cloth. If you are buying all the cloth you need from the auction house, I suggest getting the minimum amount and only buy more when needed. The numbers in the estimated amount column are rounded up to full stacks of whatever the component stacks up to.

Component Minimum Amount Estimated Amount

Linen Cloth 140 (7 stacks) 160 (8 stacks)
Wool Cloth 165 (9 stacks) 200 (10 stacks)
Silk Cloth 700 (35 stacks) 760 (38 stacks)
Mageweave Cloth 450 (23 stacks) 520 (26 stacks)
Runecloth 750 (38 stacks) 900 (45 stacks)
Rugged Leather 90 (10 stacks) 120 (12 stacks)

Getting from 1 to 50

Getting from 1 to 50 seems easy enough. Making a bolt of linen cloth greys out at 50, so it looks like this is the easiest way to get to 50. However, since making a bolt of linen cloth becomes yellow at 25 and green at 37, you will most likely make much more bolts than needed to get from 50 and further.
Getting from 50 and further requires at least 70 bolts of linen cloth, so lets make those first and set those aside. If you haven't reached 50 yet, make a bolt of linen cloth and then a linen belt. The linen belt will give a skill point. Repeat this until 50.
Once you hit 50 talk to the appropriate trainer to become Journeyman Tailor. You have to be level 10 to become Journeyman Tailor.
This table shows the different recipes used to get from 0 to 50.

Skill Item From - To

1 Bolt of Linen Cloth 1 - 50 (50)
15 Linen Belt 45 - 50 (5)

Getting from 50 to 125

First use the bolts of linen cloth set aside earlier to get to 75. Make linen bags to get from 50 to 70. Make the reinforced linen cape to get to 75.
There are two other recipe's that can be used to get from 50 to 70, the heavy linen gloves and the reinforced linen cape. These recipe's are cheaper in components than the linen bag, but since the bag sells for more silver at a vendor (2 silver for the bag versus 29 copper for the gloves and 67 copper for the cape) and you have to make a lot of bolts to get to 50 anyway, I decided to go for the linen bag so you can recoup a bit more of the money you lose wasting material.
At 75 you can train to make bolt of woolen cloth. Bolt of woolen cloth greys out at 105. To get from 105 to 125 you need at least 55 bolts of woolen cloth, so lets make those and see how far we get.

If you haven't reached 105, make 1 bolt of woolen cloth and then make a woolen cape until you do reach 105.

Now use the 55 bolts of woolen cloth made earlier and make gray woolen shirts until 110 and double-stitched woolen shoulders to get from 110 to 125.

Once you hit 125 talk to the appropriate trainer to become Expert Tailor. You have to be level 20 to become Expert Tailor.

This table shows the different recipes used to get from 50 to 125.

Skill Item From - To

45 Linen Bag 50 - 70 (20)
60 Reinforced Linen Cape 70 - 75 (5)
75 Bolt of Woolen Cloth 75 - 105 (25)
75 Woolen Cape 100 - 105 (5)
100 Gray Woolen Shirt 105 - 110 (5)
110 Double-stitched Woolen Shoulders 110 - 125 (15)

Getting from 125 to 200

At 125 you can make bolt of silk cloth, which greys out at 145. Since you're going to need at least 175 bolts of silk cloth for your skill up recipe's you will most likely reach 145 with that, so lets make those bolts of silk cloth.
Make azure silk hoods to get from 145 to 160, silk headbands to get from 160 to 170 and formal white shirts to get from 170 to 175.
At 175 you can make bolt of mageweave which greys out at 185. Later on you're going to need at least 90 bolts of mageweave, so lets make those bolts. This should get you to 185 easely.
Now back to silk. Make Crimson Silk Vests to get from 185 to 200.
Once you hit 200 talk to the appropriate trainer to become Artisan Tailor. You have to be level 35 to become Artisan Tailor.
This table shows the different recipes used to get from 125 to 200.

Skill Item From - To

125 Bolt of Silk Cloth 125 - 145 (20)
145 Azure Silk Hood 145 - 160 (15)
160 Silk Headband 160 - 170 (10)
170 Formal White Shirt 170 - 175 (5)
175 Bolt of Mageweave 175 - 185 (10)
185 Crimson Silk Vest 185 - 200 (15)

Getting from 200 to 275

First make some more crimson silk vests to get from 200 to 205 and crimson silk pantaloons to get to 215.

Make black mageweave leggings or vests to get from 215 to 220, black mageweave gloves to get from 220 to 230 and black mageweave headbands or shoulders to get from 230 to 250.

At 250 you can make bolts of runecloth, which greys out at 260. Make bolts of runecloth until you reach 260 skill and use those to make runecloth belts. The runecloth belt recipe becomes yellow at 270, so you should be able to reach 275 using this recipe.

This table shows the different recipes used to get from 200 to 275.

Skill Item From - To

185 Crimson Silk Vest 200 - 205 (5)
195 Crimson Silk Pantaloons 200 - 215 (5)
205 Black Mageweave Leggings
or Black Mageweave Vest 215 - 220 (5)
215 Black Mageweave Gloves 220 - 230 (10)
230 Black Mageweave Headband or
Black Mageweave Shoulders 230 - 250 (20)
250 Bolt of Runecloth 250 - 260 (10)
255 Runecloth Belt 260 - 275 (15)

Getting from 275 to 300

Although the runecloth belt recipe greys out at 300 I wouldn't use this recipe to skill up to 300, because the amount of runecloth needed would be huge and thus expensive.
Below is a table with recipe's available from different vendors. These are limited availability recipe's, so you need some luck getting them, but i think they are much more usefull in getting your skill to 300.

Ofcourse there are plenty of dropped recipe's that can get you to 300, but getting those require even more luck than with the vendor available recipe's or spending some money at the auction house.

Make runecloth bags to get to 280 and runecloth gloves to get to 300.
Congratulations, you now have 300 skill in tailoring.
This table shows the different recipes that are available through vendors to get from 275 to 300.

Skill Item From - To

260 Runecloth Bag 275 - 280 (5)
275 Runecloth Gloves 280 - 300 (20)

This table shows who and where the different vendors are for the previously mentioned recipe's. The vendors are neutral to both Horde and Alliance.

What Who Where

Runecloth Bag Qia Everlook in Winterspring
Runecloth Gloves Qia Everlook in Winterspring

This table shows the material needed to get from 270 to 300.

Component Minimum Amount Estimated Amount

Runecloth 525 (27 stacks) 700 (35 stacks)
Rugged Leather 90 (9 stacks) 120 (12 stacks)

WoW Jewelcrafting Guide - Burning Crusade

This power leveling guide is focused on leveling jewelcrafting from 1-300 as quickly and easily as possible when the Burning Crusade is released. This should give you edge over players who are unprepared for Jewelcrafting when the expansion is out. I have chosen designs with easily obtainable materials opposed to cheap materials, and I have not considered resale value of items. If you have any suggestions, please share them with me at suggestions@almostgaming.com. Additionally, this guide was written during the beta so design specifications and material are likely to change. Please keep me posted with what you discover so I can keep this guide updated./p>

Once the Burning Crusade is released, the below materials will likely increase in value as Horde and Alliance shuffle to their respected cities and try to power level Jewelcrafting. I strongly recommend not only buying what you'll need to level to 300, but also extras in case something goes wrong after the Burning Crusade is released.

Engineering 1-300 Guide

-This is the guide I used to level up my engineering on my Rogue. I don't know the source for this one =( Enjoy!

Okay. I decided to pick up engineering, Here's the guide that I created last night, trying to spend the least amount of gold I could. I must admit that it's about 70 gold for EVERYthing, But in the end, you'll have like 20-25 gold in your pocket. This is the Quick and Dirty way. If you can't keep up with the bill, I suggest getting mining, as it alleviates nearly 90% of your costs when you just straight mine to 300.

First is the shopping list of all items I used in my powerlevel. You WILL have leftovers on most things but I padded for the unlucky.
Next is the List itself. What to skill up on until the level desired. For instance, 1-40 means stop doing it when you get your 40th profession point. Next, what typically you can do with the item. Then, AHed ingredients and finally the ingredients in ONE make of the crafted item.

Also, please leave comments.

Pick up Schematics that help out:

"Discombulator Ray":
1.You need a DELTA ACCESS security card. It's a low % drop in gnomeregan, so getting it is the hardest part. I've found 3 off of the mobs coming from the back door. You can also find it from AH though in some cases. The important part about delta security card is that it is not BoP, so once you have gotten your schematic, sell it to someone else.
2. You must have 160 engineering.
3. Learn the schematic directly from 3500-D terminals on the way to Thermaplugg from the back door, in the engineering labs.
*4. Now, I have heard also that Alliance need to have the Red Access card, as well, but I did not have it when I got the ability.

"Schematics: Repair bot 74A":
Learn this from a scroll on the ground next to Golem Lord Argelmach in BRD at 300 engineering. (First of all, you'll need the Shadowforge Key.
1. Take your first left, unlock the gate, run up to the gate on the right, unlock that, run up to the door on the left, unlock it.
2. Walk up to the big gear in this room, and unlock the chain.
3. Run up the ramp in this room, take the left up the stairs, then follow the hallways. You'll come to a room with about 4 fire elementals, stairs going down on the left, and a ramp going down on the right. Go right.
4. Ahead of you will be many non-elite gnomes and elite elementals standing around. Go straight down from the ramp until you come to a room with a named, and two elementals guarding him.
5. The plans are to your right.)
It takes 12 Thorium Bars, 4 Rugged Leather, 1 Fused Wiring, 2 Elemental Earth, and 1 Elemental Fire. It has only 1 charge before it is expended. Not cheap.

---Types of Artisan Engineering---

The Master Gnome engineer is in Booty Bay.
The Master Goblin engineer is in Gadgetzan. These trainers will give you a task to complete to join
that society. Note that you don't need to choose either, as it is not linked to learning
artisan engineering at level 35 at all.

For your Goblin engineering quest:
20 Big Iron Bombs (190) (3x Iron Bar 3x Heavy Blasting Powder 1x Silver Contact)
20 Solid Dynamite (175) (1x Solid Blasting Powder 1x Silk Cloth)
5 Explosive Sheep (150)
(1x Bronze Framework 1x Whirring Bronze Gizmo 2x Heavy Blasting Powder 2x Wool Cloth)

For your Gnome engineering quest:
6 Mithril Tubes (195) (3x Mithril Bar)
1 Accurate Scope (180) (1x Bronze Tube 1x Jade 1x Citrine)
2 Advanced Target Dummies (185)
(1x Iron Strut 1x Bronze Framework 1x Gyrochronatom 4x Heavy Leather)

Goblin is the realm of BOOM. You get a wider variety of and more powerful explosives. Unfortunately the dragon gun and the mortar still trigger the shared explosive reuse timer, though they are on seperate cooldowns.

Goblin engineering produces the following:
1) (205) Goblin mining hat (AC 190, +15 sta, +5 mining, mail armor, BoP) (You no take candle!)
2) (205) Goblin construction hat (AC 44, +15 fire resist, cloth, BoP) Use: absorb 300 to 500 fire damage for 1 minute.
3) (205) Goblin sapper charge (explosive, limited use) Damage enemies around you for a lot while damaging you
for slightly less.
4) (205) Goblin Rocket Fuel recipe (creates a recipe) create recipes for alchemists, who in turn can supply you
with goblin rocket fuel, necessary for some schematics.
5) (205) Goblin Mortar (explosive, 6 uses) Has a minimum and maximum range. Binds on equip, so you can
recharge your own mortar (using the Mortar: Reloaded schematic gained at the same time) for significantly
fewer resources than a new mortar, but cannot recharge anyone elses as it is soulbound to them.
Also worth noting is that this item apparently still causes a "stun" effect instead of a "disorient" effect,
which is somewhat more useful. However, the radius is smaller than listed, probably 6 yards instead of 10.
6) (225) Goblin Rocket Boots (AC 41, cloth) These boots are one of the few items usable by those without
the engineering skill. They allow fast running for a short period of time, but are prone to explosion.
7) (230) Goblin Bomb Dispenser (trinket, BoP) Can create one bomb that behaves as an exploding sheep, every
30 minutes.
Cool (235) The Big One (explosive, 2 uses) A massive bomb that deals high damage in a huge radius. Has a
longer than usual activation time.
9) (240) Goblin Dragon Gun (trinket, BoP) A 10-second channel creates a cone of flame that deals damage each second.
10(?)) (245) Goblin Rocket Helmet (AC 50, +15 sta, cloth) Allows you to charge an enemy, knocking it unconscious
for 30 seconds and yourself for less time. Damage ends the effect.

Gnomish is the realm of devices. Trinkets for every occasion. If you are satisfied with the amount of explosives from standard engineering, go gnomish for utility.

Gnomish engineering produces the following:
1) (205) Gnomish Shrink Ray (trinket) temporarily reduces target's attack power by 250. this can also backfire
on the user, causing them to shrink or grow.
2) (205) Inlaid mithril cylinder plans (creates a recipe) creates plans for blacksmiths, who in turn can
provide you with mithril cylinders, necessary for some schematics.
3) (210) Gnomish Goggles (AC 45, +9 agi, +9 sta, +9 spi, cloth, BoP) goggles with agility
4) (210) Gnomish Net-O-Matic Projector (trinket) Roots target for 10 seconds, 10 minute cooldown. Can backfire
and root the user instead.
5) (215) Gnomish Harm Prevention belt (AC 66, +6 sta, leather) Use: blocks 500 damage over the next minute,
but can also temporarily remove the user from reality.
6) (225) Gnomish rocket boots (AC 41, cloth) requires engineering to use, but cannot be destroyed like the
goblin version.
7) (230) Gnomish Battle Chicken (trinket, BoP) summons a combat chicken for 90 seconds. 30 minute cooldown.
Cool (235) Gnomish mind control cap (AC 50, +14 spi, cloth) allows mind control of your target for a short time.
9) (240) Gnomish death ray (trinket, BoP) a 4-second channel deals damage to you each second, and then releases
more than the total amount at your target. Aggros as you start channeling.

Those are the big differences I know of. It's purely a matter of preference. Keep in mind that aside from the ones that are Bind of Pickup, you can trade/buy to get most of the other's products!

That's it, you should be 300 when reading this little section. Props to Thottbot, Auction House, and ideas given by various forums. Good luck to you, you'll probably need it after this faq drains your wallet. ^_^
